Why should I provide a plain text version for HTML email?
While HTML email is eye-catching and being employed more and more,
particularly for email marketting, it is and always will be true
that: HTML email is not always readable for some of your recipients.
Some popular email readers (e.g. Pegasus) simply don't read HTML
email, others (Pocomail and even AOL) have difficulties displaying
it properly. So, don't ignore these recipients by creating your
message in "HTML and Plain Text" format (
Format
->
Email Format ->
HTML and Plain
Text). Prepare a text version of your message for these
people, if a recipient can't open your HTML email, he or she can
still get the text version.

How do I create a mailing list file for Handymailer?
Handymailer supports plain text (*.TXT) and CSV (*.CSV) mailing
lists delimited by commas, tabs, semicolons, etc. Many email and
contact database programs allow you to export contact information
to these file formats, and most spreadsheet applications, such
as Microsoft Excel do so as well. Once you export the contacts
from those programs, you can import them into Handymailer.
A CSV or tab-delimited file is simply a text file that contains
information separated by commas or tabs. Each column represents
a separate field and each row represents a separate contact record.
The format evolved as a way to get information out of tables in
spreadsheet or databases programs and into other similar programs.
A CSV or tab-delimited file does not have any unique or proprietary
formatting. Typically, the first line has the field names (columns)
for the actual entries or records that make up the rest of the
file. It doesn't matter which order the columns are in, but the
file must include the column headers on the first line, followed
by one entry (record) per line, as in the samples below:
Example of CSV file
Name,City,Email,Birthday
Michael,Hartford,michael@somewhere.com,8/6/1979
Matthew,Boston,matthew@somewhere.com,12/3/1965
Amanda,Los Angeles,amanda@somewhere.com,3/8/1980
When you specify a mailing list for a mailing job, Handymailer
lets you choose the delimiter character and which column contains
the email addresses.

Top
Can I resend the failed emails?
Yes. Once you've finished sending your mailing, you can easily
resend the failed emails. Some emails cann't get delivered not
because the email address is bad, but because the Internet offers
many impassable obstacles:
the recipient's e-mail server may be temporarily down
your ISP may be temporarily down
an Internet segment may be temporarily down
a DNS server may be temporarily down
Resending the failed emails can improve the sending success
ratio.

how many threads can I create?
Yes, Handymailer is a multithreaded application. You can use
up to 512 threads to send out emails simultaneously. Using mutiple
threads to send out emails can speed up message sending. However,
